Funke CEO was present at the 12th annual CERD Conference Bratislava
The 12th Central European Radiocommunication Days (CERD) 2016 in Bratislava, chaired by Mr Juraj Oravec of Výskumný Ústav Spojov (VUS), was well attended with more than 80 delegates from the Broadcast Industry.
The various speakers in the morning session explained the results and of course the consequences of the outcome of the WRC2015.
Funke's CEO Stan Baaijens showed the audience the new/extra opportunities after the WRC2015 for DTT, migration solutions from DVB-T to DVB-T2, the importance of a relevant business model and the need of cooperation between all stakeholders.
Furthermore Mr Baaijens recommend visiting EBU events and the benefits of a DVB membership.
The afternoon session dedicated to satellite TV was moderated by Stan Baaijens in a quite alternative way: involving the audience in the panel discussion by walking between the audience and challenging the audience to participate in the discussion by asking them their personal opinions!
After the closure all participants complimented the organiser Mr Tibor Budvesel from VKC Intenziva, s.r.o. for the very interesting program.
The CERD was taking place on March 10th, 2016 at the Hotel Devin in Bratislava.
We are looking forward to seeing at one of the next events!!
